By default, profiles and allergens stay on your device. Household sync uploads data only if you turn it on and give separate consent. Recall alerts upload data only if you turn them on and give separate consent. Capture photos upload only when you submit them, after location and other photo metadata are removed on your device. You do not need an account to scan.
